At present there are several items where the number of volunteers who want one is much greater than what is available. For this reason, purchasing limits have been created to encourage the fairest distribution of these items. These limits are on items purchased with a discount only. Due to obsolescence and buyers preferences, this list will change from time to time. Monthly limits on the most desirable items (laptops and high-end PCs) have been approved by staff. At present these items are included:

• Items with a monthly limit (one per month means one per 30/31/28 days):
  • Laptops (one laptop w/ an OS per month)
  • PCs (one x86 in excess of Freek Box specs per month (at present 1.6 GHz)
  • Macs (one g4 or higher per month)
  • Cell Phones (one per month)
  • LCDs of any type

• Items with a daily limit (one per day per volunteer):
  • Wireless Devices
  • PDAs $20 or more
  • As-is laptops
  • Wireless Keyboard/mouse combos
  • Digital Cameras
  • All-in-One printers
  • 128 mb Video cards or higher
  • Stereo equipments (receivers, tuners, amps, etc) Exception: Matched sets
