Hi, I'm Pete Forsyth. Free Geek is where I learned to use wikis by…building this wiki! I volunteered at Free Geek from about 2001 to 2006, focusing mostly on developing a communications strategy and relationships with the media, the Oregon legislature, potential volunteers, and potential donors of hardware and cold, hard cash. I worked extensively on the Media Kit, and worked to get several stories published in various publications, including Earth First! Journal, Lifestyles Northwest, and the Portland Tribune.
