 :Our systems get used with free and open source software because it has been getting better and better in quality over the years. This has made life as a tech support guy much easier. There is a certain amount of hardware failure but the majority is just a need for better education. We have done pretty well with Adopters but we could use some education for grantees and customers in the store. Problems arise with trying to maintain laptops and tech support is having to ask Laptop department a lot of questions. There is education is every area area and beyond like consensus building. People often ask how to use linux and we don't really have a good answer for that yet but we hope that all such problems are solved once we hire an education coordinator.
