:If the list is advertised at the above link, click on it and follow the directions for subscription. You will need to know your email address and have a password that you can remember ready. Normally, once you've signed up, you'll get a confirmation email which you should reply to, and then your part is done. For many lists, an administrator will also need to approve your subscription, so there is a little wait while this happens.

;The list I want isn't advertised there. How do I sign up for that one?
:You can click on one of the other lists, and then change the name of the list in the URL. For example, if you want to sing up for the foobar list (that's an example) you can click on the link for the minutes list, and then change the word "minutes" in the URL to "foobar".

;I want to see the archives. How do I do that?
:At the bottom of most list emails there is a link to the info page about that list. Go to that page and from there, click on
