New page

==Gnome-Orca Screenreader==
this page is a work-in-progress

*This is a buggy program. The main issues I have encountered are:
#Orca stops talking from time to time. It seems random.
#When composing an e-mail in certain programs (thunderbird, yahoo), certain letters (t,h,i,u,o,q,...) do not show up. We fixed this problem by selecting a preference in thunderbird to convert everything to plain text. This seems to have solved the problem.
#Orca does not read pdf documents the same way it reads an email, webpage, or text document.
