Would like to make a couple small additions, based on Mike's current job description, and then propose this language to become official job description for all sales/reuse staff.

Specifically, would like to add (under sales-specific area):

-Maintain current knowledge of market prices for store items, and work to
ensure pricing consistency amongst all staff & volunteers
-Evaluate and improve Thrift Store layout

after getting nod from store folks, would like to send this to the union for approval (which I think we need to do!)

		+	<h3>General:</h3>
		+	<ul>
		+	<li>Provide a safe and welcoming environment to customers and volunteers of all abilities/experience</li>
		+	<li>Provide excellent customer service and instruction under challenging conditions</li>
		+	<li>Assist in the training of staff and volunteers</li>
		+	<li>Recruit and coordinate volunteers for daily tasks, special projects and internships</li>
		+	<li>Proactively communicate with Free Geek staff & volunteers regarding area needs and issues as they arise</li>
		+	<li>Initiate and implement improvements to policies and procedures</li>
		+	<li>Create and maintain documentation of procedures/policies</li>
		+	</ul>
		+	<h3>Sales-specific duties:</h3>
		+	<ul>
		+	<li>Use POS system to accurately handle cash and credit sales, and close till at end of day</li>
		+	<li>Process customer returns and issue/redeem store credits based on our policies</li>
		+	<li>Effectively communicate store policies to customers</li>
		+	<li>Process, price and shelve incoming products</li>
		+	<li>Perform opening/closing duties</li>
		+	<li>Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the store</li>
		+	<li>Support all aspects of our Sales Department, including online sales, bulk purchases and rentals as needed</li>
		+	</ul>
		+	<h3>Reuse-specific duties:</h3>
		+	<ul>
		+	<li>Lead workshop-style classes</li>
		+	<li>Troubleshoot and help maintain Reuse technical infrastructure</li>
		+	<li>Stock reuse area with needed hardware and components</li>
		+	<li>Manage incoming and outgoing devices and gizmos</li>
		+	<li>Recruit volunteers for Reuse areas, as needed</li>
		+	<li>Keep volunteers on track and within established systems and procedures</li>
		+	<li>Prepare Reuse areas prior to volunteer shifts</li>
		+	<li>Orient volunteers to Reuseareas and procedures</li>
		+	</ul>
		+	<h2>Required Skills</h2>
		+	<ul>
		+	<li>Availability during Free Geek hours of operations, including morning and occasional evening meetings as required</li>
		+	<li>Retail or other sales/customer service experience</li>
		+	<li>Basic knowledge of computer hardware</li>
		+	<li>Command of standard office software (word processing, spreadsheet, data entry)</li>
		+	<li>Experience working with volunteers</li>
		+	<li>Aptitude for and experience in technical work</li>
		+	<li>Well-versed in troubleshooting techniques</li>
		+	<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
		+	<li>Self-motivated</li>
		+	<li>Organized and detail-oriented</li>
		+	<li>Able to analyze a problem, create the steps to fix it, and follow through on the plan that was created</li>
		+	<li>Able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly, and 40 lbs. on occasion</li>
		+	<li>Ability to stand and perform data entry for extended periods</li>
		+	<li>Ability to multi-task</li>
		+	<li>Ability to work in an informal environment with a diverse population</li>
		+	<li>Dedication to Free Geek's mission and Open Source philosophies</li>
