There are triage flow charts that we use to determine whether a computer gets kept or recycled.
The triage chart for system evaluation 1 looks for obvious reasons for recycling. If one is found the system is recycled. If not, the system goes on to system evaluation 2 for further inspection. A postscript version of this flow chart can be found at http://web.freegeek.org/howto/deadtrees/triage-1.ps and there is also a pdf version.
The triage chart for system evaluation 2 makes a final detemination. If the system is to be recycled, it is passed back to system evaluation 1 for mining. A postscript version of this flow chart can be found at http://web.freegeek.org/howto/deadtrees/triage-2.ps and there is also a pdf version.
