Responsibilities
The build coordinator's job is work with FREE GEEK's Production Coordinator to oversee FREE GEEK's build workshops.
This includes:
- substituting for volunteer build instructors when necessary,
- ensuring a steady supply of completed systems are supplied to the adoption program,
- keeping the build area orderly,
- conceiving and implementing ways to improve the build process,
- keeping build related documentation up to date as the build processes change,
- overseeing computer repairs for adopted Freek Boxes in need of technical support,
- recruiting, training, and approving builders that might be willing to oversee a weekly or bimonthly build workshop.
Required skills
This job requires a great amount of patience.
