Gift certificates are assigned numbers sequentially according to wheather they are sold at the front desk or thrift store. For example, the first gift certificate sold at the front desk would be FD01 (or TS01 for the Thrift Store).  The front desk and store will maintain an independent list. Always have the purchaser fill in the "FOR" field when buying.
