Use: Boot from a floppy or CD to test memory. Includes simple CPU identifier.
Prep: Download pre-compiled .exe to make a floppy from Windows or download the ISO to make a bootable CD.
License: GPL

Disk testing

Ontrack Data Advisor. [[2]] Use: Boot from a floppy to test hard drives. Prep: Download this program and run it on a DOS (Or Win?) system to create the bootable floppy. License: Free for personal use. Download is at no cost after registration.
