Free Geek is not a junk yard

If you are receiving this document, it likely means that you have tried to get parts from Free Geek that were not in the Free Geek thrift store. Please note, even if you have had this done for you in the past, Free Geek does not make this service available to volunteers or the general public. Providing parts for individuals is universally not the best use of time for Free Geek staff and volunteers. In rare instances when a production coordinator authorizes the sale of part from within the stream please note that you will pay, at minimum, 100% of the average completed sale price on eBay (or more), at the discretion of the sales coordinator, with no coupons or discounts available. In sum:

• All things for sale are available in the thrift store
• The things you want that are not in thrift store are available on eBay.com
• Any flexibility on this policy is per the discretion of production coordinators, without regard to your urgency
• Repeated attempts to obtain parts from the stream are grounds to be excluded entry into Free Geek, its thrift store, or both
