If you're nice and good at explaining things and have done/understand well the process and purpose of system evaluation, you can help other people learn about computers and basic troubleshooting. Quick Guide:
- Teach 'em Eval 1
- Teach 'em Eval 2
- Be nice.
- Be clear.
- Have fun.
- Keep the space usable.
Detailed Instructions
In either Eval1 or Eval2, you may run into a person who should have spent a little more time in the preceding step. If they demonstrate significant difficulties in understanding things they should have learned in card/motherboard sorting or eval1, don't be afraid to suggest they go back and spend more time there. Most people are here to learn.
Comparing and Contrasting Evaluation 1 and 2
Evaluations 1 and 2 are quite similar in form, but vary in the details. Therefore the instructions for one are positioned so you can't see them from the other place. Volunteers should be encouraged to read the directions in front of them and they should be reminded that these instructions change frequently.
