This document is meant to give guidance to the store folks in what laptop drives they can and can not take to the store. Below is the list of minimum amount of each drives that should be left for laptop build.
DO NOT TAKE SATA DRIVES NO MATTER WHAT SIZE
Anything 30 GB and under, minimum is 6 GB
- Take all to the store
40 GB
- Do not take any of these to the store
60 GB
- Do not take any of these to the store
80 GB
- leave a minimum of 20 drives
100 GB - 120 GB
- leave a minimum of 8 drives
Over 120 GB
Take all to the store
Other Notes
- recycle all thicker than normal laptop hard drives (unless they're SATA)
