We're going to clean things up a bit, so we are looking to identify areas that need minor repairs and a coat of paint. For info on a cleaning party (less structure, more scrubbin') see the Combatting Clutter page. Please add to this list. Note: this list is not in order of priority, that will be decided when the list feels more complete.

Meeting Room

paint walls
trim and paint doors
improve lighting and lighting controls
improve bar
improve meeting accessories (i.e. video projection, networking, telephone)
install door/vestibule to upstairs loft.

Bathrooms

paint walls
new flooring??? (could be got for free as the bathrooms are not huge).
- Crafty has a mosaic plan.
secure/replace loose defective fixtures
solution for for soap and towels (lots fo options here)
create storage for bathroom supplies
Fix fan in "men's" bathroom

Staff Kitchen/Lounge

PURGE!!!
improve lighting and lighting controls

paint walls
trim and paint doors
improve cabinets/workspace
fix floor
install or ditch the oven

Volunteer Kitchen

Lab

Reception

Rug or carpet samples: Either action will necessitate rolling chairs move easy enough to get around on
Presently the floor is being eroded away by chair wheels, causing lots of sawdust like flakes to exist everywhere
Hard plastic flooring might help
fix door between front desk area and receiving, it doesn't latch or stay shut

Receiving/Basic Testing

Fix holes in ceiling all down the hall
Sign regarding styrofoam
Shelving over basic testing for storage and for museum items

Upstairs

Add on to floor for clasic game library and museum.
Add shelving for museum storage

-Okay, may I speak frankly for a moment?  Why is FG so... well....uh... messy these days?  The last two times I've been there on a Saturday, the receiving area could not even be entered.  Once there, even if the Rev. hadn't flaked, I realized there was no way I would have actually been able to film there under those circumstances.  Not even enough open space to set up a tripod!  (Also, I brought a wealthy individual on a tour a few Saturdays back, and he had many positive comments, but also said to me, "I think we should get a group in here and clean this place up!")  Why are things so much messier than they used to be?  Are we being inundated with gizmos?  Do we not have enough bodies to process it so it just piles and piles up in the receiving area?  Why are there piles of dirt and stuff? Do we have brooms and mops?  do they get used?
-I would be happy to organize a cleaning party some weekend, but I worry that it's too cluttered to clean, we wouldn't be able to get at surfaces.  What can we do?
-The reason I bring this up is I would like to be able to capture something in addition to chaos on film.  In the past, I was able to film pretty easily, but there was more open floor back then to walk on and through.  Can someone clue me in?  Suggest solutions?
