Overview
- Remove case cover, or side panel.
- Remove all drives (floppy, CD, etc.).
- Remove all wiring.
- Remove power supply --> send to Level II recycling.
- Remove component cards and motherboard --> send to Advanced recycling.
- Remove all plastic.
- Remove speakers and fans.
Detailed Instructions
Tools:
- screw gun
- Phillips head screw drivers
- wire cutters
- Torx drivers (various sizes)
Removing the case cover:
There are generally three styles of cases that we deal with.
- Desktop w/case cover (need image)
- Tower w/case cover (need image)
- Tower w/side panel(s) (need image)
