This page describes the responsibilities of the Entertainment Assistant (EA)
Job Description
This position is an unpaid internship which provides a wealth of hands-on learning in the realms of event planning, social networking, and non-profit structure. The EA would work with a specific person as well as the Events Committee in general to assist with facilitating the entertainment at Geek Fair.
Duration & Hours
- Starting ASAP, runs until July 21st
- 5 hrs/week
Responsibilities
- help brainstorm entertainment & music ideas
- solicit bands/musical entertainment
- solicit & coordinate individuals for other forms of entertainment (i.e. dunk tank)
- make contact & follow up with entertainment
- help arrange Geek Fair layout
- create timeline for day of Geek Fair
- help with Geek Fair Hotlist
