Stuff we mostly agreed upon (12 - 15 people agreed)

  • Should workers get paid for attending meetings? YES
  • Should all collective workers be required to work a certain minimum number of hours per week? YES
  • Should there be a cap on how many hours per week collective members should be paid for? YES
  • Should we strive to give workers a flexible schedule, for example allowing them to work fewer days and more hours per day or allowing them to take a half day off per week, making the time up elsewhere in the week? YES
  • Should we strive to hire and allocate work so that no one needs to work more hours on average than they are paid for? YES
  • Should all collective workers be required to spend a minimum amount of time working with volunteers? How much? YES
  • Should all collective workers be required to perform tasks that nobody wants (or not enough people want) to do? YES

  • Should all collective workers be required to participate in a minimum number of committees? YES
  • Should all collective workers be required to set goals? YES
  • Should all collective workers be required to report all the hours that they work? YES
(See Staff Survey on the securewiki for stuff we have less agreement on.)
