Under Construction
AirPort and earlier model Airport Extreme router or base stations are disassembled, and the PCI or PC card pulled for separate testing. These will be dome-shaped white plastic. Auto-recycle the silver dome-shaped Airport Base stations. Square N routers are tested separately in Hardware Testing.

There is an infrastructure iLamp on the western MacBuild shelves marked for this purpose.
- Remove the four screws on the silver cover on the base of the iLamp
- Install the mini-PCI card and attach the antenna wire
- Attach keyboard, mouse, and external OSX drive
- Turn on the iLamp and hold down the Option key
- Select the OSX external drive
- Verify that you are connected to WiFi
- Power down the iLamp and apply a Tested By sticker with your initials, or recycle the card if it doesn't work
Ideas for new testing station
Mount iLamp up on a shelf where bottom can be accessed. Install OSX locally rather than booting from network or external drive. If this were to end up in Hardware Testing, what else can the iLamp be used for?
