==Boxes That Get Sorted (But Not Emptied)==

====DVI Cables====

* Rubber-band the nice ones and recycle the rest. Give ones with odd ends to the store.

====Ethernet Cables====

* Ethernet cables don't get emptied to any particular place because various people pull from our bin (hardware grants, for instance). Sort out any cross-over cables, CAT-5e & CAT-6 cables over 10” for the store box. You can recycle the shorter cords.

====Three-Prong Power Cords====

* Check through the box to see if there are any "Figure 8" or "Mickey Mouse" power cords: see if the store is in need of them, or recycle them. Feel free to recycle the three-prong power cords that aren't wrapped nicely or are from Macs (they are greenish-blue and colorful). Check to see if the Adoption class needs power cords, and give them a mix of black and white ones. The rest of the power cords can stay in the bin until the store or grants needs them.

====USB Cables====

* Sort types of cables. USB A to B and USB to mini cords are common, and the store only wants ones that are labeled USB 2.0 or Ultra Speed. Give all firewire cables to the store. USB 1.0 cables be recycled or stay in the box until the store or other people need them (like hardware grants).

====VGA Cables====

* Rubber-band the nice ones and recycle the rest. Give VGA extension cables to the store.
