- Do not pull anything unless these instructions say to pull it. This includes ribbon cables.
- Hard drives should all have been removed by now. Please be certain that they have been.
- Remember to leave all rails and drive sleds in case!
- Remove any DVD Drives
- Remove any High Speed or Ultra Speed CD Drives
- Remove any front-side card readers if they have a cable attached. Keep the cable with it.
- Remove the following types of memory
- SDRAM
- RAMBUS
- DDR
- SODIMMS
- Remove the following cards
- Remove any PCI cards
- Remove any PCI-e cards
- Remove any AGP cards
- Remove power supplies
- (unless they are very difficult to remove)
- Remove any button batteries
- Remove Macintosh batteries (in case you're taking apart a Mac)
- Remove 3.5 inch face plates
- Remove 5.25 inch curved DELL face plates (found in DELL systems only)
- Remove half height card slot covers
- Remove anything on the "Also Pull" list on the whiteboard.
