Backup Password

  • cp /etc/shadow /etc/shadow.bak - (hash of root + user)

Change Password

passwd [username]
passwd –e [username] – (change on startup)

Add / Delete User

adduser [username]

Updates & Broken Packages

apt-get update

View error log less rsync.log
