When scheduling and signing in/out volunteers, you will hear lots of different words for what are basically all the same things. The biggest confusion seems to arise in the Build Program areas. Most scheduling mistakes happen when volunteers or schedulers use different words for the same things, or the same words for different things. After a while everyone gets the hang of the vocabulary, but in order to ease the learning process, I've created this "dictionary" for use during training by staff and interns at the Volunteer and Donation desks.
