My mom, stepfather and I read the book "Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer" by Warren St. John about RV fans of Alabama football a while ago. In the book the fans he met ate these things called "Bama Bombs". Ric and I decided to make a bunch of them and give them out to our friends. I brought two jars to Free Geek and people liked them so I decided to tell people how to make them.
Pour half the cherry juice out of a jar of Maraschino cherries. Fill the jar with pure grain alcohol.
It is best to let the cherries soak in the alcohol for at least a month or two. The longer you can wait the better.
After the cherries are gone, you can add pink lemonade to create a drink Warren named the "Van Tiffen" after an Alabama kicker.
