Do not pull anything unless these instructions say to pull it. This includes ribbon cables.
Hard drives should all have been removed by now. Please be certain that they have been.
Remember to leave all rails and drive sleds in case!
  1. Remove any DVD Drives
  2. Remove any High Speed or Ultra Speed CD Drives
  3. Remove any front-side card readers
  4. Remove the following types of memory
    • SDRAM
    • RAMBUS
    • DDR
    • SODIMMS
  5. Remove the following cards
    • Remove any PCI cards
    • Remove any PCI-e cards
    • Remove any AGP cards
  6. Remove power supplies
    • (unless they are very difficult to remove)
  7. Remove any button batteries
  8. Remove Macintosh batteries (in case you're taking apart a Mac)
  9. Remove 3.5 inch face plates
  10. Remove 5.25 inch curved DELL face plates (found in DELL systems only)
  11. Remove half height card slot covers
  12. Remove anything on the "Also Pull" list on the whiteboard.
