Exceptional Components List

There is no need to actually pull these components out at this point. (You will be instructed to pull them later on.)

Drives

  • High Speed CD RW
    • (They must have a standard rectangular faceplate.)
  • Ultra Speed CD RW
    • (They must have a standard rectangular faceplate.)
  • DVD Drive
    • (They must have a standard rectangular faceplate.)
  • Hard drive with a SATA connector
  • 30 GB or bigger hard drive

Cards

  • Gigabit ethernet card (Network Card maked 1000)
  • Wireless card
  • US Robotics brand ISA modems marked Sportster.

RAM

  • DDR memory
  • RAMBUS memory
  • Stick of 256 MB or better SDRAM

Other

  • Power supply with a SATA connector
  • Motherboard with a SATA connector
  • Removable hard drive enclosure (looks like a little drawer)
  • VA-503+ Motherboard
  • Front side card readers
  • A really cool case that some geeky kid would drool over
