Thrift Store Meeting 11/10/10

Old Commits:

1. Paco will email technocrats to get a new eyes login. IP + - waiting for a response from technocrats
2. Sergio will join drop box.
3. All of us will figure out what we want to keep for the museum. IP +
4. Francisco and Sergio will make a Store box in Mac Land. IP
5. Ian COMMITS to send an email to receiving to communicate the policy on software and make sure the policy on the wiki is current.
6. Paco COMMITS to look at sales trends and get back to us.
7. Leah COMMITS to looking into the new intern.
8. Ian COMMITS to letting receiving know that we no longer want internal card readers without cables.
9. Ian COMMITS to cleaning the safari policy page up and finalizing it.
10. Leah COMMITS to talking to Ebeth and Santiago about selling laptop parts on ebay.
11. Leah COMMITS to talking to tech support to find out the simple problems that maybe we can help people know how to solve during the actual computer sale. Also Leah will find out how the manual is working for people if at all.
12. Leah COMMITS to email schedule at to have the sales meeting added to next week.

1. Other gizmo testing.
2. Report on cell phone sales to our new recycling vendor Wireless Alliance.
3. Sampling Ram & CPU sales on eBay and in the store
4. HTML page with store request of gizmos from advanced testing
5. We got a best of Portland Award! It's in the education category. Who should handle the response? Us? PR? - We didn't have time to talk about this.
6. What should we do in Sales Committee meetings? Some of us are new to this.
7. Adding a Scraptop-As-Is (Mac) category to sales as per Michael W's email.
