CBM is short for Copper Bearing Material. There should always be a gaylord designated for CBM.

Stuff that should go in CBM

  • speakers
  • clipped mice that have been tested as not functional
  • telephones
  • electronic miscellaneous
  • clipped powersupplies
  • motors and drives
  • VCRs, stereos

Stuff that should not go in CBM (even though it might have copper in it)

  • keyboards
  • scanners (they have a separate gaylord)
  • hard drives (those that have been smashed go in the motors bin)
  • wire
  • wood housing of speakers
