Program Basic

  • Program Desciption:

Providing education and skills to "at-risk" youth, with the goal of earning a computer. This year has evolved into working with a highschool to provide education through the build program

  • What best describes this program:

Primarily meets program needs (expected to cost more money than it makes)

  • Why does Free Geek need this program?

Education and bridging digital divide are part of the mission statement. And while FreeGeek could do without having a specific program geared toward kids, it still opens up FG to youth who otherwise might never make it here.
