Committees

- HR
- I do quite a bit of the reviews & interviews. I do some documentation from time to time.
- C7
- Mostly budgeting
- Inreach
- I am the primary responder to info@ & volunteer@ emails. I organize Volunteer Rewards events such as BBQ, Pastry/Coffee, etc.
- PR
- Sporadic website maintenance. I respond to a bunch of media/press inquiries for info or requests for FG's presence (tabling, presentation, etc.). I'm the point person for all neighborhood dropoffs/recycling events.
- Events
- My time is voraciously consumed by the beast known as Geek Fair/Holiday party during these events. I am currently the Geek Fair coordinator
- Optimization & Priorities
- How did I sucked into doing this again? Oh yeah, e-waste stuff...
- Space Usage
- Meets sporadically
- Receiving
- The resurgence of an old committee to implement Receiving-end changes due to e-waste legislation. I'll probably be this committee's point person.
Floor Shifts
- Laptops - 4 hrs/week
- Receiving - ~5 hrs/week
- Floater/Stocking - 4.5 hrs/week
- Teaching Adoption Class - 3.5 hrs/week
- PreBuild - 2 hrs/week
- Front Desk - 1 hr/week
- Food Run - 1 hour (while Liane was gone)
Other scheduled stuff
- Beancounting - 1.5 hrs/week
- Bookkeeping - 2 hrs/week
E-waste meetings
- Once a month until November 2008.
Other notes
- I spend much of my "free" admin time working on documentation-type projects. For example: going through every page in the HR Category on the wiki and cleaning up/updating them, overhauling the Staff Handbook, updating info/procedures for Laptops & Adoption Class, compiling fact/stat sheets. I clean up Free Geek sometimes, especially the cafeteria & Laptops.
