• Start with a spread of assorted laptops
• paradigm of desktops vs laptops, i.e. the lack of modularity, predictability.
• Different brands, differences thereof.
• Overview

External (Stage 1)

• I/O: Keyboard, trackpad, monitor
• Electron flow: battery, power adapter
• Plates (AKA case, access panels)

Inside (Stage 2)

• RAM
  • Exercise: Sorting w/ chart, Insert into appropriate slot motherboard
• Hard Drive
  • Exercise: Insert into appropriate slot motherboard, Apply appropriate adapter(s)
• PCI/PCI-e
