Responsibilities

  • coordinate the improvement/development of the volunteer intake process
  • work with Education Coordinator to implement volunteer training programs
  • work with other staff to ensure volunteer jobs are filled
  • create system for volunter recognition and reward
  • outreach to potential volunteers in the community (schools, etc)
  • create system for filing/addressing complaints

Required Skills

  • some computer knowledge
  • some hardware knowledge useful but not entirely necessary
  • excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • familiarity with consensus process
  • patience and flexibility
