- Aptitude for and enjoy helping people
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, and able to eventually work with little supervision
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills (you like to put stuff in order)
- Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds on a regular basis
- Manage flow of gizmos.
- Teach Adoption volunteers basic intake functions.
- Proactively communicate with other Free Geek staff and volunteers about area.
- Occasionally teach basic hardware vocabulary and Free Geek system evaluation process to Build volunteers.
- Help keep receiving area in line with Free Geek philosophy and capabilities. Be aware of Free Geek programs.
