Hardware Donations Apprenticeship

• Aptitude for and enjoy helping people
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, and able to eventually work with little supervision
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills (you like to put stuff in order)
• Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds on a regular basis

• Manage flow of gizmos.
• Teach Adoption volunteers basic intake functions.
• Proactively communicate with other Free Geek staff and volunteers about area.
• Occasionally teach basic hardware vocabulary and Free Geek system evaluation process to Build volunteers.
• Help keep receiving area in line with Free Geek philosophy and capabilities. Be aware of Free Geek programs.
