- How can I hook my iPod to my FreekBox with gtkpod? (Adoption FAQ from Ali)
- Bring your iPod into an upcoming session and we'll give it a try! But there are a few things to consider:
- If your iPod is formatted for a Mac, you'll probably have to "reformat" it, which will erase all of its songs. Do you have backups of your music?
- It's possible that gtkpod can corrupt the information on your iPod, forcing a reset. Do you have backups of your music?
- Will's son uses Banshee.
- How do i use Gaim? (Adoption FAQ from Ali)
- Gaim is now known as Pidgin. "It should just work!" you'll need an account on an instant messaging service like GTalk, Yahoo or AIM. If you don't have an account on any of these services, Pidgin should be able to help you sign up for one. If you have friends you want to talk to using instant messaging, ask them what service they use!
- I took my laptop apart and pulled out the keepalive battery. I have a replacement, but I can't figure out where to put it. Can you help? (Jeff)
