we want an Outreach Coordinator to be a PR/advertising/marketing person.

  • create a plan for pimping FG
  • helping pave the way to a capital campaign
  • creating a media kit
    • compiling FG stats, e.g. master list of hardware grants (how many grants we give out, to which types of organizations (educational, homeless, environment, churches, etc.), how much money the granted hardware is worth in Thrift Store $)
  • fostering community partnerships
  • coordinate and train a group of volunteers for outreach opportunities (tabling, speaking, presentations, etc.)
  • responsibilities also include a few floor shifts a week
  • could create tracking system for how volunteers hear of FG, where they come from
  • would assist with organizing events like Prom, Geek Fair, Holiday Party

Experience
