This page can be used for planning future "Core BBQ's" (yum!). This is a way for Free Geek staff to show our deep appreciation for all that our volunteers do for the Free Geek community, the environment and our world.

TASK LIST
before Friday
- get the volunteer awards ready - Ali
- get charcoal
- food shopping
- beer pickup -- no beer this month
Friday daytime
- get ice, put keg on ice - ALI
- grill prep
- food prep (cut onions & tomatoes, wash lettuce, tray 'em up)
- set-up
- bring these outside: tables, chairs, cutlery, napkins, plates, garbage & recycling cans, water cooler, & cups
during the BBQ
- present Volunteer Rewards
- grilling (needs multiple people)
afterwards
- cleanup
- move tables & chairs back inside, pick up any leftover garbage, etc.
TOTAL COSTS
- September 2007: $124.25
- (note: we already had a number of items on hand and it turned out that we didn't have enough food)
- May 2008: $178.16 groceries attained by MK, $20.65 potato salad, $35 from Ali + $35 beer Jacob
