LPT
- Connect via LPT to a powered-on printer.
- Go to System > Administration > Printing and either find the appropriate driver in the left menu, or create one by clicking "New Printer."
- Highlight the printer you're using in the left menu and
- Click the "Print Test Page" button.
- Delete the printer profile from the menu if it isn't a permanent fixture.
USB
- Connect via USB to a powered-on printer.
- Ubuntu should find your printer and allow you the option to configure it. Click on that window and print a test page.
- If your USB connection isn't found go to System > Administration > Printing and either find the appropriate driver in the left menu, or create one by clicking "New Printer."
- Highlight the printer you're using in the left menu and click the "Print Test Page" button.
- Delete the printer profile from the menu when you're done if it isn't a permanent fixture.
Ethernet
- Connect ethernet cable to network card.
