Overview

There are two noun forms: 1) Self-Isolating Ideology (that causes you to be a ) 2) Self-Isolating Ideologue. A self-isolating ideology is a set of beliefs and practices that tends to move a persons ideas to margins or acts to physically isolate a person from friends and coworkers. The beliefs encompass a wide range of world views and are best described by what they look like.

The Behavior

  • Clues that you may be witnessing this behavior include
    • Hearing "If I don't do this no one will." This is almost never true and generally is result of a fear of loss of control of the outcomes if the decision making on a project is shared.
