The default Xubuntu Broadcom wireless drivers are known to fail on the following Intel Mac systems:

A1224: iMac8,1 (20" 2.4GHz) EMC=2210

--- The problem should be fixable by installing the b43-fwcutter driver as per Wireless_Troubleshooting_Guide#Broadcom Wireless
