Jeff: There is no food without onion. Wait, we can make a cheese sauce; that will cover up for the lack of onion.
Martin: How are you going to make a cheese sauce without onion?
Jeff: How do you make cheese sauce?
Martin: With onion.
Jeff: I know how we can make a cheese sauce without onion. We can make a cheese sauce with -- wait for it -- cheese!
[Kevin falls over.]
Instead, here is how we made Cheese Sauce.
Make a roux. We used canola oil, a little olive oil, and two large scoops of hydrogenation-free margarine, then added flour until it was roux-like.
Make it into a bechamel. You can use water, almond milk, or soy milk, but we used soy milk. Then add the following spices
- black pepper
- oregano
- thyme
- basil
- rosemary
- 2 Tb of apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tb of almond butter
