Cisco PIX Firewall Testing
The Cisco PIX Firewall is a little different in the manner that it is defaulted. It is necessary to download the PIX Password Lockout Utility and boot the PIX from it. This utility does one thing: asks you if you want to remove the password(s) from the configuration. Detailed instructions appear in this document on the Cisco website. The various versions of the PIX Password Lockout Utility are installed on the Network Test Station Workstation and it is running a TFTP server to facilitate this procedure.
