Advanced Testing Kit

Welcome to the Advanced Testing Kit main page

The Advanced Testing Kit has been put together to allow the testing of most motherboards and processors from anywhere inside Free Geek. The kit contains components specific to testing Intel and AMD components as well as several common components.

Common Components:

• Allied 300W ATX (20 pin) Power supply
• AGP Video Card
• 512MB Patriot PC3200 DDR Memory
• 128MB Infinion PC2700 DDR Memory
• 128MB SDRAM
• Power Switch (orange & white cable)
• Goo Scraper
• CMOS Battery
• 4 pin Molex to fan connector adapter (keep attached to PSU)
• Foam Pad
• CPU pin Straightener

• Intel 848P Socket 478 (S478) Motherboard
• Intel 845 Socket 478 (S478) Motherboard
• P4 2.2GHz 100 FSB
• P4 2.66GHz 133 FSB
• P4 2.4GHz 200 FSb
• 2 S478 HSF units
• 512MB (2x256) 600MHz RDRAM and 2 CRIMMs

AMD Components

• SiS 746 Socket 462 (S462) Motherboard
• Duron 1.2GHz 100 FSB
• Athlon XP 2000+ 133 FSB
• Athlon XP 2500+ 166 FSB
• 2 S462 HSF units
