Free Geek has been awarded the international Chris Nichol FOSS Prize for "doing extraordinary work to make FOSS accessible to ordinary computer users." Free Geek shared the prize with NepaLinux, a Debian-based Linux distro in Nepalese. See our press relase and this article from Nepali paper, Kantipur. Portland State University paper The Vanguard also wrote an article about it.
