Free Geek has been awarded http://www.apc.org/en/news/freesw/namerica/free-geek-has-been-keeping-needy-nerdy-seven-full- the international Chris Nichol FOSS Prize for "doing extraordinary work to make FOSS accessible to ordinary computer users." Free Geek shared the prize with NepaLinux, a Debian-based Linux distro in Nepalese. See our press relase and this article from Nepali paper, Kantipur.
