Distro refers to which GNU/Linux distribution(s) we are currently using. The discussions over this used to happen in the Distro group, which is now dormant, and it's responsibilities are being overseen by the Technocrats committee Which distribution we use, how we tweak it and when we roll out updates, can all be lively issues for us geeks, charged with opinionated language. We do an *okay* job of getting this done without fisticuffs. Currently we are using Ubuntu 8.04 and are looking to upgrade soon.
