NPA class policy

NPAs may elect to take classes in order to improve their ability to use and teach Linux. Currently, formal Linux instruction is not a part of the standard NPA training process, so classes are available to supplement the informal learning process. There are limitations and stipulations regarding how NPAs may participate in classes, including the following:

  1. You may take, at most, two classes a month
  2. You must submit your request for a schedule change at least two Saturdays before the scheduled class (e.g. If you would like to take a class on Thursday, March 8th, you would have to put in the request by the end of the day Saturday, February 25th.)
  3. Only one NPA can be signed up for any individual class
  4. Taking classes would count against your admin time, so you may be scheduled for a floor shift during your regularly-schedule admin time.
