Eval Testing Flipflop

System Evaluation is currently in the areas labeled A, B, and C. It will move to the areas labeled D, E, and F.

Previous Setup

• A was previously Eval 2
• B was previously Eval 1
• C was previously Legacy Eval

The red rectangles were where the incoming piles of computers (those awaiting processing) sat. The nearby blue oval was where the warehouse bound cart sat.

Eventual Setup

• The areas labeled D, E, and F will host System Eval. The exact layout is undetermined, but Eval 1 will likely be closest to receiving (G), and Eval 2 will be further back. The green rectangles may be where the incoming piles belong.
• We hope to expand the amount of table space devoted to Eval 1.
• The flow of computers will not backtrack so much as they move from receiving into the warehouse.
• We may have two carts, one for keeper systems and one for recyclers. (Not sure yet.)
• We hope to move the door on the bathroom next to sorting, so they do not share a common door.
• Basic Testing will shrink (no longer doing speaker testing) and move forward into area G.

Advanced Testing

Advanced testing will move back to A, B, and C (where Eval was).

Interim step

• Eval 2 has moved to area C.
• Eval 2 has already vacated area A, and we've moved the basic incoming pile to behind area C.
• The rejects pile has moved forward.
• Legacy Eval is shut down during the move.
