This page is a living document of the tasks that the Staff Members in R&R do throughout a shift. It is in no way complete. Please add tasks that you do on a daily basis, or special tasks that are required of you during a shift.

Recycling

  • Bulb sorting

  • Battery sorting

 -Alkaline Sorting
 -Lithium taping
 -Rechargeable battery bagging/boxing

  • Junk plastic sorting
 -Sorting into bins
 -Boxing/bagging bins
 -Palletizing
  • Toner logistics.

-coordination with vendor
  • Glove Logistics
-Taking down abandoned gloves
-Refurbishing/replacing glove tags
-Sorting clean gloves when they are returned from cleaner
  • Glasses Logistics
  • Motherboard processing
 -maintaining Special processes for special volunteers
  • Gaylord logistics
 -using the forklift 2-3 times a day to keep the area in order.

(once/day takes much longer because things need to be juggled around much more.

 -Bringing in and arranging pallets/gaylords after a vendor pickup.
 Ensuring that all full gaylords are swapped the night before a pickup.
  • Forklifting donations and pick-ups
 -unpredictable timing, we should probably always have a driver in

the warehouse.

  • Tool maintenance, repair and replacement.

  • Recognizing A/V
