Phone Data Erase

1. Select Menu -> Settings & Tools -> Phone Settings -> Security
2. Enter the last four digits of the phone number
3. Select Reset Default

Other Options

1. type 277634#*# from the main screen, choose Master Reset

Verizon LG-Chocolate 8500

Master Reset:

1. Press Menu, Press the <-- arrow to Settings & Tools, OK
2. Press 5, 5
3. Enter 4-digit lock code (default last four digits of phone number) or 0000
4. Press 3, OK, 1

Phone will restart & reset Master Clear: Not Supported Phone Book:

1. Press Menu, Press the --> arrow to Contacts
2. Press 2
3. Press Options, 7, 1
4. Enter 4-digit lock code (default last four digits of phone number) or 0000
5. Press END

Voice Dial: Cleared by Clearing Phone Book Memory Call Lists:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Recent Calls, OK
2. Press 4, Options, 4, 1
3. Press END

Voice Mail:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Messaging, OK
2. Press 5, Clear, 1
3. Press END

Text Messages:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Messaging, OK
2. Press down arrow to Options, 4, 1
3. Press END

If text message has a lock icon next to it, the message is protected and must be cleared separately

1. Press Options on locked message in Inbox, Sent, or drafts Folder, 3
2. Repeat step 1 for all unlocked messages

Messages may now be cleared normally Camera:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Get it Now, OK
2. Press down arrow to Get Pix & Flix, OK
3. Press down arrow to My PIX, OK
4. Press Options, 8, 1, 1
5. Press END

Video:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Get it Now, OK
2. Press down arrow to Get Pix & Flix, OK
3. Press down arrow to My FLIX, OK
4. Press Options, 8, 1, 1
5. Press END

If there is a lock on the picture/ video, it is locked and must be cleared separately

1. Press Options on locked picture/ video
2. Press 6
3. Repeat steps 1-2 for all locked pictures/ video

Pictures may now be cleared normally Calendar/Organizer:

1. Press Menu, Press --> to Settings & Tools, OK
2. Press 2, 2
3. Press Options, 5, 1
4. Press END
