Program

Laptops is a post-Build program available to most people who have completed Build. You will need an instructor to sign off and move you into post-Build. It is much more hands on that Build, as you will need to replace many more components than you would in a regular desktop build. As apposed to a typical build shift, often in Laptops we have you take the system from evaluation straight through the build process. It would be helpful to take both our Command Line 1 and Command Line 2 class, as we do much more in command line than Build. You will need to be comfortable working with small parts; cables, wires and screws are all much smaller in laptops than they are in a standard desktop. Laptops is also a good starting place if you then want to move onto Macbuild.
